Avoca provides renewable energy design services, primarily focused on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, with additional experience in small wind and solar thermal systems. The services we provide include an initial project assessment and continue through site assessment, preliminary design, major component selection, STC and PVUSA estimates, final design, construction documents, permit expediting, construction support, as-built documentation and project close out. Our PV experiences ranges from residential sized 10 kW systems to large 108 MW systems. Avoca has designed in excess of 2000 MW of solar projects from 2005 to the present
In addition to solar PV, we have designed the electrical and mechanical portions of a 3MW co-generation plant, utilizing landfill gas and designed prototype small wind turbine (10 kW) on-grid installations for telecommunication sites.
